Beep Song row: Simbu appears at Coimbatore police station

The actor reportedly answered all the questions posed by the cops related to the song. The 'Beep' song was allegedly leaked by someone in December. A case was filed against Simbu who had sung the song as it contained demeaning lyrics. The song went viral and social activists filed a case against him in Coimbatore claiming it was derogatory to women.

Sporting a black shirt, jeans and dark shades, Simbu arrived at the Kattoor police station with his father actor-producer T Rajender. He also had a bandage on his nose after being recently injured during a film shoot. There were at least 500 people outside the police station when he came out after questioning.

He told the media that he was not in a position to discuss the case. Simbu said, "I leave everything to God" before he was whisked away in his car.
