Special Train between Chennai and Coimbatore

In order to ease the congestion between Chennai and Coimbatore, Southern Railway has announced special trains between the cities, from March 6 to March 9.

According to a release the Chennai central to Coimbatore Suvitha Superfast Special train (train no. 00648) will depart from Chennai Central junction at 10.30 pm on March 3 and will arrive at Coimbatore main junction, by 6.40 am the next day.

The Coimbatore - Chennai central Superfast special will depart from Coimbatore junction at 9.15 pm on March 5 is scheduled to reach Chennai by 5.15 am the next day.

Both the trains will stop at Perambur, Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpet, Salem, Erode and Tiruppur junction.
