Arulmigu Ankala Parameswari Amman Temple : 7 AM to 12 PM and 5.30 PM to 8 PM.
Ankala Parameswari Amman is the family deity for several families from virtually all the communities in this region. There are several temples for her, however this one is considered to be the most important in the Coimbatore region. The beautiful painted Icon of Devi in this temple is a sight to behold. She is the eternal protector of families and no wonder she is celebrated so. A number of Telugu Jangama Lingayats and others have continued to pray here over last couple of centuries. Several jewellers conduct their annual prayers here as she is their guardian deity. The temple is well endowed with a red granite interior and a nice circumambulatory path. The bright Icon of Ankala Parameswari exudes Divine grace that provides protection and succour to the needy. Vysial street is truly blessed to be the residence of the powerful wish fulfilling Ankala Partameswari. It is appropriate to recite the Mantra Mathruka Stavam by Adi Shankara at this temple.
One can also get some rare vegetables, greens and flowers that get cultivated near the Big tank in the lanes on Vysial street that will eventually lead us to the marvellous waterbody that has been meeting all the water requirements of this part of the city.
Let us pray to Ankala Parameswari and seek her Divine grace.
