FunCity: The Coarse, the Ugly and the UnAmerican!

There had been a lurking hope that campaigning Presidents might after all turn out to be run of the mill sort of Presidents once they come to power. Absolute power tames renegades absolutely. But President Rodrigo Dueterte of the Philippines has dashed our hopes; he has proved that irresponsible talk is not confined to pre- election rhetoric; you can be abusive even after you become the President.

Dueterte called Barrack Obama the son of a bitch and the Pope the son of a w++++. He has vowed to eat the Abu Sayyat militants in front of the people when the time comes. The Philippines police inform us that on an average, 44 people were killed a day during Dueterte’s war on crime. Dueterte has declared that “plenty more will be killed until the last drug manufacturer is out of the streets.”

He has warned the UN, “you can’t even solve the Middle East carnage, could not even lift a finger in Africa, shut up, all of you.”

It will not be a surprise if Donald Trump learns a few lessons from Dueterte and says that he would eat the Mexicans in front of the TV cameras when the time comes? May be the day is not far off for him to say “.... off, UN” ? Shall we assume that he would deprive all the Mexicans, Indians and the Chinese (MICs) of their jobs and clear the field for the jobless Americans ? And give a gun each to all the deplorables?

We have a couple of suggestions to him: Don, as you have assumed office, hold an annual gun rally, ask your deplorables don cowboy hats, ride horses and shoot down MIC aliens. In the melee, don’t forget to disarm Hillary’s bodyguards.

The only way to embarrass a woman, even if she is a Presidential candidate, is to remind her of her husband’s extra marital affair. You have not exploited the Monica Levinsky affair, may be because you have similar skeletons in your cupboard? Milk it, man, a cowboy never thinks twice before drawing his gun, right?

Hail Donald Trump!
