Tirupur North MLA and others participated in the booth committee meeting chaired by former Deputy Speaker Pollachi Jayaraman on behalf of the AIADMK in Tiruppur city district.
Tirupur: AIADMK held a booth committee meeting in Tiruppur. The meeting was chaired by former Deputy Speaker and Pollachi MLA Pollachi Jayaraman.
Speaking at the meeting, Pollachi Jayaraman said, "As far as the AIADMK movement is concerned, it is a movement created by the cadres. Leaders and secretaries will all come and go, but the movement has always been an unshakable movement.
The only reason for this is that the AIADMK is a movement made up of the blood, flesh and sweat of the cadres. Also, each booth committee should have a women's wing, a camp, a technical wing and a team of experienced senior leaders in that area.
The booth committee to be constituted should be very clear. We have to take the party on the path of development."
Following this, more than 100 people from the DMK joined the AIADMK.Those who joined the party were greeted enthusiastically by Pollachi Jayaraman with a party towel.
Tirupur North AIADMK MLA Vijayakumar, former legislators Gunasekaran, Sivasamy, Palaniswami, Natarajan and many other AIADMK functionaries were present on the occasion.
