Coimbatore District Police take pledge to mark World Trauma Day

Coimbatoe District Superintendent of Police, V Badrinarayanan presided over the pledge being taken by top officials and constables of the district police team at the District Police Office in Coimbatore to mark World Trauma Day.


Coimbatore: World Trauma Day is observed every year on October 17 to protect life that is in danger and to create awareness to avoid death due to bodily injuries. Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police, V Badrinarayanan presided over the pledge-taking ceremony at the Coimbatore District Police Office to mark World Trauma Day on October 17.



"We suffer bodily injuries due to various accidents like road accidents, fire accidents, building collapse, etc. which also affects relatives and friends, and also causes damage to bodily organs and mental health. So, we pledged that we would take all necessary precautions to prevent such incidents from happening and would play an important role in saving lives by providing first aid to those injured in road accidents," stated the Coimbatoe SP..

The pledge-taking ceremony in Coimbatore was attended by the Additional Superintendents of Police of the district, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, other police officials and ministry staff.
