Grievance redressal camp for ex-servicemen in Coimbatore

More than 50 people, including ex-servicemen and wives of the deceased soldiers, participated in the meeting and presented their grievances to the authorities.


Coimbatore: For ex-servicemen on behalf of the Madras Regimental Centre and Dakshin Bharat Area, a grievance redressal camp for the families of the deceased soldiers was held at SNR Art Gallery in Coimbatore.

More than 50 people, including ex-servicemen and wives of the deceased soldiers, attended the event and expressed their grievances to the top brass of the army.

The demands of the ex-servicemen were raised on issues such as pension, health insurance and employment.

District Collector Sameeran, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Prathap Kumar and army officials were present at the grievance redressal camp.
