StartupTN to organise national-level 'Texathon 2.0' to address challenges of the textile industry

StartupTN, in collaboration with the Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) and NIFTTEA Incubation Centre for Textiles, is conducting ‘Texathon 2.0’, a Textile Hackathon, to address the challenges faced by the Textile Industry. Calls upon engineering college students, innovators, creators and entrepreneurs to participate and to develop ideas that could be part of the future of the fashion and textile industry.


Coimbatore: StartupTN, in collaboration with the Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) and NIFTTEA Incubation Centre for Textiles is conducting ‘Texathon 2.0’, a Textile Hackathon, to address the challenges faced by the Textile Industry through innovative and technologically, and viable solutions that are fit for commercialization.

Texathon 2.0 is a national-level Textile Hackathon that addresses the following five thematic areas such as Medical Textiles, Industrial Automation, AI/Smart Textiles, Defense Textiles and Sustainable Textiles (converting textile waste to usable products).

This Textile Hackathon is a unique chance for the innovative and vibrant students from higher education institutions including arts and science colleges, engineering colleges, innovators, creators and entrepreneurs to develop ideas that could be a part of the future of the fashion and textile industry.

It is an opportunity to unleash your great potential for innovative products, solutions and business models by reusing, repairing, re-manufacturing & redesigning that are the focus areas of the Sustainable Development Goals (SGD) for a promising future.
