The City Police Commissioner attended the valedictory function of the 15-day annual refresher training course for the City Armed Forces Constables held at the premises of the Coimbatore Police Training School and felicitated the trainee constables.
Coimbatore: An annual refresher training course for armed forces constables is being conducted annually across Tamil Nadu.
The 15-day course will include training on do's and don'ts, handling of stress, maintaining health, mental health, handling of modern weapons, handling of lathis and tear gas shells, dispersion of rioting crowds, parade pruning, prisoner escort, monetary guarding, guarding, security duties for VIPs, handling of stress, maintaining health, healthy eating habits, etc.
The valedictory function of the training was held at the police training school premises. City Police Commissioner Balakrishnan participated in the meeting. He accepted the salute of the pruning parade of the policemen who had completed the training at the event.
He then inspected all the vehicles used in the city police. Deputy Commissioner of Armed Forces Muralidharan, Assistant Commissioner Sekar, Inspectors Govindaraju and Pratap Singh were present on the occasion.
