Police in Palladam cut a cake and distributed it to the public during the New Year celebrations and gave various suggestions to the public.
Tirupur: Palladam police in Tirupur district celebrated the New Year amidst the public.
Tirupur District SP Shashank Sai, Palladam DSP Sowmya, ADSP and inspectors of Palladam, Avinashipalayam police stations were present.
Police personnel working at Palladam police station and traffic police personnel were also present on the occasion along with their families.
The New Year was celebrated near Palladam bus stand by bursting crackers, fireworks and cutting cakes.
Sweets were also distributed to motorists and the general public who came by. Various awareness advisories were given to the public on behalf of the police.
Speaking on the occasion, a policeman said, “the public will not indulge in any criminal activities if they were afraid of the policeman named Conscience”
