CM M K Stalin pays last respects to Erode East MLA Thirumahan Everaa at Erode

Chief Minister M K Stalin was accompanied by Sports Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, Forest Minister Mathiventhan, Urban Development Minister K N Nehru and MP Kanimozhi, Minister Senthil Balaji, Coimbatore Mayor Kalpana Anandkumar, DMK office-bearers from Coimbatore district and other Congress leaders.


Coimbatore: Even as several political personalities thronged Erode East MLA Thirumahan Everaa's residence in Erode to pay their last respects to the son of senior Congress leader E V K S Elangovan and offer their condolences, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, M K Stalin also arrived in Coimbatore from Chennai by flight and then travelled by road to Erode to pay homage to the departed leader. Security arrangements were tightened at the airport ahead of the CM's visit.



Thirumahan Everaa died of cardiac arrest on Wednesday.



Chief Minister M K Stalin was accompanied by Sports Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, Forest Minister Mathiventhan, Urban Development Minister K N Nehru and MP Kanimozhi. Minister Senthil Balaji, Coimbatore Mayor Kalpana Anandkumar, DMK office-bearers from Coimbatore district, Congress leaders and others also accompanied the Chief Minister to Erode.

The Chief Minister returned to Coimbatore after paying homage to Thirumahan Everaa in Erode. He is presently staying at the Government Guest House in Coimbatore and will leave for Chennai by flight on Thursday morning.
