Nilgiris SP convenes meeting with traders, instructs them not to sell tobacco- based products

Nilgiris Superintendent of Police Prabhakar convened a meeting with traders and asked them not to sell tobacco- based products in the district.


The Nilgiris: K Prabhakar, who took over as the new Nilgiris Superintendent of Police, convened a meeting with the traders and traders association of the Nilgiris district at the old superintendent of police's office at Ooty.



The meeting was attended by office bearers from six taluks including Ooty, Coonoor, Kotagiri, Gudalur and Pandalur.



Speaking on the occasion, Superintendent of Police Prabhakar advised traders not to sell tobacco products like gutka, panparag and tobacco in the Nilgiris district.



He also listened to the grievances of traders and merchants during the meeting.
