Coimbatore fame Konniamman Temple's annual festival begins with 'Pradhistai' tomorrow.

City-fame Koniamman Temple's annual Car festival (Ther Thiruvizha) is all set to commence from tomorrow. The Trustees and the Organizers of this temple have invited the public to participate in tomorrow's 'Ratha Pradhistai' (Ther Pooja) event from 7:00 am to 10:30 am, which marks the beginning of the Car festival.

The Car (Ther) would be decorated in a customary way tomorrow followed by special poojas and offerings. Every year this Pradhistai event would be attended by thousand of devotees from various parts of Coimbatore district, including Tiruppur, Pollachi, Udumalapet and other adjoining places. 

The annual festival of the Koniamman temple is to be held from 21.02.2017 to 06.03.2017. The main car (Therottam) festival is scheduled to take place on 1st March, 2017.
