Ajay Barathan assumes charge as Principal of CRPF Central Training College, Coimbatore

Ajay Barathan, who was serving as IG, CRPF, took over as the new Principal of CRPF Central Training College, Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: In 1986, Ajay Barathan, who completed his post-graduation, was directly appointed as a CRPF gazetted officer.

The officer has the distinction of working in Punjab, North-eastern Jammu and Kashmir, Chhattisgarh, and also n Naxalite infested areas.

He also served as the Commandant of the CRPF Training College, Coimbatore, and won the Best College Award in 2015.

He was also awarded the Medal for meritorious service on the occasion of the 50th Independence Day celebrations.

On the occasion of his 75th Independence Day, he was credited with receiving many awards and certificates.
