'Humanity crossing barriers of caste and creed has grown after the Corona-19 epidemic' – TN Minorities Welfare Minister Gingee Masthan

Speaking at a seminar on religious harmony which was held to mark the 75th death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi in the city, TN Minister Gingee Masthan said that humanity has increased manifold after the Covid-19 epidemic swept over the world.


Coimbatore: On the occasion of the 75th death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi a seminar on communal harmony was organized in the city.



The seminar was jointly organized by the Indiya Kalachara Natpuravu Kazhagam and Tamil Nadu Palsamya Nalluravu Iyakaum and Tamil Nadu Kalai Ilakkiya Perumandram.

Advocate Radhakrishnan, general secretary of the Indiya Kalachara Natpuravu Kazhagam welcomed the gathering.



Mohammad Rafi, President of the Tamil Nadu Palsamya Nalluravu Iyakam, said Gandhian principles have always been needed for resolving issues of religious harmony and for sustaining humanitarian values.

Similarly, TN Minister for Minorities Welfare Gingee Mastan, who was the chief guest said, "During the Covid period has taught everyone the need to cross over the barriers of caste and creed and the importance of larger humanity. Indeed, humanitarian values have increased after the corona period”.



Perur Adheenam Shanthalinga Marudasala Adigalar, Tamil Nadu Tribal People's Association President Gunasekaran, former District And Sessions Judge Mohammed Ziauddin, All Christian Federation President Sagayaraj and others took part.
