When Police interrogated Karthi, a history-sheeter, and a resident of Chokkanatha Pudur in Selvapuram, he gave away information about the bike thieves.
Tirupur: With the help of CCTV footage, the police have arrested three persons, who were wanted in two-wheeler theft cases at Dharapuram.
Earlier, two persons who lost their two-wheelers had lodged a complaint at the Dharapuram police station saying that the two two-wheelers parked near State bank and Periya Bazaar on Udumalai Road in Dharapuram were stolen by unidentified miscreants.
The police, who registered the complaints, scrutinized the CCTV footage installed across Dharapuram town.
When they interrogated Karthi, a history-sheeter, and a resident of Chokkanatha Pudur in Selvapuram in Coimbatore district, he gave away the information about the bike thieves.
Based on the leads given by him, bike thieves Nandakumar, Maheswaran and Vallarasu were arrested.
Later the arrested were produced in court and remanded in custody.
