Wild Fire control measures training given to National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) men at MT

Around 50 personnel of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) from Vijayawada in Mudumalai are being given special training on forming barricades to prevent wildfire in the forest area.



The Nilgiris: As many as 50 personnel of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) from Vijayawada has arrived at the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve in the Nilgiris district to undergo training on fire prevention measures.



They are given field training in forest fire prevention and management methods in Mudumalai Tiger Reserve.



In this, training was imparted on fire prevention lines, controlled incineration and forest fire prevention equipment through Mudumalai Advanced Wildlife Management Training Centre, (AWTC) Theppakadu.



The training will be conducted by CASFOS College, Coimbatore till February 18 in various forest areas of Tamil Nadu.
