Coimbatore: The people of Tamil Nadu may have recognized our talents and made us Members of Parliament.
But the Union Ministry has recognised us and made us Governor so that our talents get rewarded said Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan at a function in Coimbatore.
Participating at a Employees’ Day function at PSG Arts and Science College, the Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan said that even those who wanted to uphold Tamil and to bring it to the vocational stream of education in Tamil Nadu have failed to do so, but the PSG college has done that. This college was the first to teach chemistry in Tamil.
While stressing about team spirit she said: "even though I like dosa, I got used to eating idlis when the cook didn’t know how to make it. Similarly, I like to drive fast in the car, but got used to slow driving when protocol insists on it”.
While speaking about the current educational scenario, Tamilisai said professors have to compete with Google and know better and know how to handle even last-bench students without losing patience. Tamilisai also exhorted students to learn yoga for stress relief and well-being.

Speaking to reporters later, Tamilisai Soundararajan said that “employees' day should be celebrated in every state. There are plans to implement it in the states”
While talking about Tamlls getting Governor posts s she said that Governors are chosen by the President and the Home Minister.and it goes to the qualified ones.
“The people of Tamil Nadu may have recognized our talents and made us Members of Parliament. But the Union Ministry has recognised us by giving gubernatorial posts” Tamilisai said.
While asked about the law and order situation in the state she quipped "I cannot talk about the law and order situation in Tamil Nadu. Ask the party leaders about it,".
