Police arrest a woman Tamannaah for releasing a TikTok video with weapons

Police are on the lookout for rowdies who released threatening videos with deadly weapons which surfaced on social media.


Coimbatore: The police have arrested a woman, Tamannaah who was hiding in Sangagiri after posting a threatening “TikTok” video with weapons.

She was brought to Coimbatore for questioning. The police have registered a case against Tamannaah under two sections of the Arms Act.

Police are on the lookout for rowdies who released threatening videos with deadly weapons when they surfaced on social media.

Based on the orders of the city Police Commissioner Balakrishnan, a special team arrested 48 rowdies including more than 10 TikTok rowdies in a single day.

In this situation, Tamanna, who had recently released a threatening video continued to evade arrest.

However, Tamannaah said that she had posted the video two years back, and is now married and living with her husband. It is said Tamannaah is also pregnant when police arrested her.
