Video of enraged inebriated youth breaking bottles at tea stall in city's Sulur area goes viral on social media

Coimbatore: The raw CCTV footage of youth breaking bottles at a tea shop in Coimbatore's Sulur area has gone viral on social media.

Kamaraj, a native of Virudhunagar district, runs a tea shpp in the Pappampatti section near Sulur, Coimbatore district. Five youngsters arrived at his shop on Wednesday night to drink tea and also ate cake later.

When Siva, an employee at the tea stall demanded payment for the cake from the youngsters, the gang became furious and alleged that the cake was spoilt and hence they would not pay for it.

Thereafter, an argument ensued between Siva and the five youth, after which the young boys are seen breaking glass bottles which are part of the shop's accessories. In addition, the five of them tried to attack Siva. The youths fled the spot after bystanders in the area began shouting out.



In this regard, the raw CCTV footage of this incident in which enraged youth smashed bottles in a shop in Sulur has gone viral on social media.

The tea master Sivakumar highlighted that the five youth have been involved in similar incidents every time they consumed alcohol. "This is the second time they have broken the bottles kept in the shop. I had filed a complaint regarding this issue to the police to take appropriate action against them," lamented Siva.
