In this situation, reporter Arun Kumar and cinematographer Balaji have gone to Kinathukada for the news regarding the quarrying.
While returning from a stone quarry near Kinathukadavu, a gang of three goons came there and tried to snatch the cameraman Balaji's camera.
Moreover, cinematographer Balaji was abused with inappropriate words and pelted with stones. Balaji, who was injured in the attack by the goons, has been sent to the hospital by an ambulance.
The Coimbatore Press Club strongly condemns the brutal attack on cinematographer Balaji, who shot a stone quarry at the place where he went to cover the news.
At the same time, we urge the police to immediately arrest the persons who hurled hatred against cinematographer Balaji.
