MLA Vanathi Srinivasan inaugurates ₹12.82 Lakh worth bus shelter Project in Saibaba Colony, Coimbatore

MLA Vanathi Srinivasan inaugurated the bhoomi pooja for the building of a bus shelter at Saibaba Colony in the Coimbatore South assembly constituency, which is expected to cost Rs 12.82 lakh.

Coimbatore: In Saibaba Colony in the Coimbatore South assembly constituency, a bus shelter's bhoomi pujan ceremony was performed for a bus shelter that cost Rs 12.82 lakh and was funded by the Assembly Constituency Development Fund.

As part of the event, South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan conducted the bhoomi pooja, laid the cornerstone, and officially started construction.

She addressed the reporters and said, “the public has suffered significant harm as a result of the water issue in Coimbatore. In a few locations, they receive drinking water once every 15 days and once every 30 days. Furthermore, if there is less water in Siruvani, the government must make sure that the people are provided with drinking water, if not directly, then at least through trucks. Drinking water is becoming a significant issue even before the summer season starts.

In the Anna Market area, the corporation management needs to make the necessary arrangements for the load-lifters. The central government has released some recommendations as the spread of covid-19 has begun to pick up speed once more.

Public awareness should be properly raised by the state administration. Even though the AIADMK government had already designated the Cauvery delta regions as agricultural zones, it is up to the state government to determine whether or not to build coal mines there.

She stated that the alliance for the Lok Sabha polls would be decided by the national leadership. Nothing about this is unclear. The Kalakshetra issue first attracted the attention of the National Commission for Women (NCW). It's important for the impacted ladies to speak up and file a complaint. A number of locations lack the Vishakha Committee.

"The court has issued its ruling on Rahul Gandhi's case, and it has nothing to do with the BJP, so the state government must make sure that there is a Vishakha Committee everywhere. The legislation is fulfilling its purpose. Judging the BJP harshly for this is inappropriate. It is up to the state government to discuss being exempted from it with the Central government if it grants approval for the extraction of coal and fuel in Thanjavur and other areas.
