Congress launches signature campaign in Thondamuthur, Coimbatore

The Coimbatore North District Congress today launched a campaign in Thondamuthur to protest against the removal of former Congress president Rahul Gandhi from the post of MP and to question prime minister Narendra Modi on the questions raised by Rahul Gandhi through a postcard.


Coimbatore: The North District Congress has launched a postcard campaign in Thondamuthur to question Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Condemning the arbitrary attitude of Modi's fascist BJP government at Thondamuthur in Coimbatore and the murder of democracy, president Rahul Gandhi today launched a campaign in Thondamuthur assembly constituency in Coimbatore North district to question the same questions raised by him as citizens of the country through a postcard to Prime Minister Narendra Modi without answering the questions raised by him in the Lok Sabha.



All India Youth Congress Secretary Naveen Kumar and Coimbatore North District Youth Congress President Akash were present on the occasion.



Coimbatore North district vice-president Chokkambudur Kanagaraj, district general secretary Kovai Anifa, Sakthi Sathish, district secretary Swaminathan, Kamaraj Tulla, Selvapuram circle president Ponraj, R S Puram circle president Mani, SP wing district president Perur Mayil, Youth Congress Thondamuthur block president Satchidananda Murthy, Youth Congress Kuniyamuthur Circle President Abbas, Youth Congress 72nd Ward President Raj Kumar, Youth Congress 71st Ward President Rajesh, Youth Congress 86th Ward President Nishar, Soundar, Murali, Thandavamurthy and Prakash will participate in the meeting.



As a beginning of this, it was held in Selvapuram area on Friday.
