Kinathukadau Bust: Two trucks full of Boulders seized

Two vehicles attempting to transfer rocks to Kerala were stopped near Kinathukadavu in the Coimbatore district. The two lorries transporting hefty loads from stone quarries were also fined Rs 96,000.


Coimbatore: Two trucks bringing rocks to Kerala were arrested and fined near Kinathukadavu.

People claim that trucks are carrying significant quantities of rocks from stone quarries in the Kinathukadavu area of Coimbatore to Kerala.

According to reports, despite many complaints from residents and farmers in the region to the mineral resources department, no action has been taken.



In this case, two vehicles carrying large loads were seized by the public and farmers today near Vanni Kumarasamy Temple at No.10 muthur near Kinathukadavu.

The two vehicles were fined Rs 96,000 for overloading with rocks by Pollachi Motor Vehicle Inspector Gokulakrishnan, who arrived at the scene after getting information.

People and farmers in the Kinathukadavu area have detained trucks carrying big goods in a distressing incident.
