Fasting in focus: Muslim observance at CM’s Photo exhibition in Coimbatore

Hundreds of Muslims who had come to witness the "Engal Mudhalvar Engal Perumai" exhibition on the biography of Chief Minister M K Stalin opened the fast at the venue.



Coimbatore: Muslims opened the fast at the Chief Minister's Photo Exhibition.

A photo exhibition named "Engal Mudhalvar Engal Perumai" is being presented at the VOC Ground in Coimbatore since The 7th of this month. Every day, thousands of people attend this exhibition. Every evening, there are musical and cultural programmes.

In this case, Zailabuddin, secretary of the DMK's North District Karumbukkadai Area Association, had brought muslims to attend the display. Muslim visitors to the photo exhibition said that on the occasion of the fasting period, Muslim men and women broke their fast at the V.O.C ground itself.



This was followed by cultural programmes and magic shows on the premises of the photo exhibition.



The activities were attended by DMK district secretary Thondamuthur Ravi and Thalapathy Murugesan, IT cell regional president TamilMarai, district treasurer Rahman, area corporation secretaries, district office-bearers, and others.
