2 arrested for Ganja sale in Karumathampatti near Coimbatore

Police arrested two persons, Akhilan and Vijay, who were selling ganja at Karumathampatti near Coimbatore, and seized 1.200 kg of ganja from them.


Coimbatore: Police have detained two people in Karumathampatti for selling ganja.

Police conducted a raid at Vinoba Nagar bridge after receiving information that ganja was being kept for sale in the Karumathampatti area of Coimbatore district.



Akhilan (24), a native of Telugupalayam in Coimbatore, and Vijay (51), a native of Tirupur district, were arrested, and ganja weighing 1.200 kg was seized from them.

The two were remanded in judicial custody.
