The 12th edition of the vegetable exhibition began today at Nehru Park in Kotagiri. A 15-feet-tall maize figure made of 600 kg of capsicum, 250 kg of bajji chillies, and a 650-kg bajra plant made of potatoes have attracted a lot of tourists.
The Nilgiris: The summer season is brewing in the Nilgiris district, which is known as the queen of the hills. Thousands of tourists visit the place every day to enjoy the pleasant climate.

The 12th vegetable fair at Kotagiri Nehru Park began today as the first event of the summer season.
In this vegetable exhibition, a 15-feet-tall Maize figure made with 600 kg of Capsicum and 250 kg of Bajji chillies, the figure of the Bajra plant made of 650 kg of Potatoes, the giant dragon made of Pumpkin stalks and the 3 elephants made of eggplant attracted the tourists.
Aside from that, various figures made of 31 vegetables were visually appealing.
Apart from this, panda bear, Bhavanisagar dam, iruvatchi bird, giraffe, giraffe, deer, peacock, crocodile made of bitter gourd, decorated with vegetables in the halls set up on behalf of various districts are also attracting the attention of tourists.
