The Coimbatore Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) launched a PCA laws poster today, with the help of SP Badrinarayan. This poster will be present in all Coimbatore District Police stations, in order to increase awareness and spread knowledge about animal protection laws.
Coimbatore: As part of Coimbatore District SPCA awareness campaigns, the PCA act 1960, posters were launched at Coimbatore District Police office by Superintendent of Police V Badrinarayanan IPS in the presence of Dr. R. Perumalsamy B.V.Sc. (Regional Joint Director Animal Husbandry Honorary Secretary Cbe. SPCA), Dr. K. Shankar M.V. Sc (Clinician Veterinary Polyclinic, Treasurer Cbe. SPCA) and Rtn.Aparna Sunku (Vice President Cbe.SPCA) at the District Police workshop/training for PCA act held on May 4th at 1:00 pm.

These posters will be placed in all 30 District Police stations in and around Coimbatore both in Tamil and English languages as it will be easier to file cases on Animal Cruelty.
