Youth died in two-wheeler collides with electric pole near Coimbatore

The two-wheeler lost control and collided with an electric light pole near Eachanari in Coimbatore. Muthuselvam, an employee of a private company from Bodi in Theni district, died in the accident. Police are investigating the accident.

He is survived by his son Muthu Selvam (26). He was staying in a separate room near Eachanari in Coimbatore and was working in a private company in Malumichampatti area.

At around 11.30 p.m., he went to his room on a two-wheeler after completing his work as usual.

While crossing the Eachanari flyover, when he turned his two-wheeler to the right to avoid hitting the speed breaker on the road, the two-wheeler lost control and collided with an electric lamp post in the middle of the road and met with an accident.

Muthuselvam, who was seriously injured in the accident, was rescued by the locals and sent to the Coimbatore Government Hospital in a 108 ambulance. But he died on the way to the hospital.

The West Traffic Intelligence Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
