Tirupur: A large number of dissidents belonging to AIADMK, BJP and DMDK joined the DMK in the presence of Minister Kayalvizhi Selvaraj and Tiruppur South district secretary Tirupur Corporation fourth zonal president Padmanabhan at the DMK city corporation office at Dharapuram in Tirupur district.
Dharapuram DMK city council secretary Muruganantham, city council president Babu Kannan, Dharapuram panchayat union president Senthil Kumar, chief executive committee member Dhanasekar, district bar team convenor Selvaraj, district deputy secretary Prabhavathi Periyasamy, city deputy secretary Kamalakannan and others were present on the occasion.
Mulanur union secretary Palanisamy, district representatives Srinivasan, Bike Senthilkumar, Ayyappan Yousus, youth wing Kaviraj, 10th ward DMK office-bearers and DMK councillors ward in-charges and many others participated.
