Speaking to media following the executive committee meeting in Coimbatore, Annamalai stated that a decision on the next course of action in relation to the illegal mining in Coimbatore would be made within a week. He also questioned how many government jobs have been filled during the DMK's rule.
Coimbatore: Bjp state president Annamalai has stated that a decision on the next course of action in connection illegal mining in Coimbatore will be made within a week.
Annamalai was speaking to reporters after the BJP working committee meeting in Coimbatore. After the last protest over the mineral looting in Coimbatore district and giving a deadline, the government officials held talks and stopped the looting of minerals.
The looting has now commenced, as though Vedalam had re-climbed the moringa tree. The question is whether to fight again with the state apparatus. We are determined to find a permanent solution to this problem.
After discussions with the two district presidents and office bearers, a decision will be made within one week. Last time, the strike was called off on the basis of an assurance given by the government officials. But a decision on the strike will be taken within a week's time as the talks of the officials did not go as per the talks.
In June 2022, the Prime Minister had promised to create employment for 10 lakh people in the next 500 days. At present, people are selected in five installments on the basis of 21,000 persons each in all places clearly without bribe.
At the same time, the results will be released after 2 years of the examination conducted in Tamil Nadu. A page selection is conducted on a nominal basis only. Bribery is everywhere. Senthil Balaji, who could be a DMK minister, said that he took money for the exam conducted by tnstc and gave the post, after which he returned the money
When such a minister is in the cabinet, how can elections be conducted in an honest manner for government seats? People are looking at one side. We are also pointing out the mistakes they make, like the garbage they dig. We are putting this up in the People's Forum.
Similarly, the DMK stated in its election manifesto that if elected, it will fill 70,000 government posts per year for the next five years. They promised to create 10 lakh employment. How many government posts have been filled, as they said?
It takes courage to take a decision like the prime minister's employment. When the DMK does not have all the three, when it wants to have good intentions and a pure government, how can the government be filled with integrity?
This is how he spoke.
