Old woman's body recovered in a burnt and decomposed state near Vadavalli

Indrani (68), a resident of Vadavalli in Coimbatore, had been living alone for the 27 years due to differences with her husband. Her body had been burnt and has been recovered in a decomposed state.


Coimbatore: In a shocking incident, the body of an elderly woman has been found in a charred and decomposed state near Vadavalli.

Indrani (68), wife of Nachimuthu (81), a resident of K K R Nagar near Vadavalli. The two have been living separately for the last 27 years due to differences of opinion.

In this case, Indrani was living alone in Anna Nagar area near Veerakeralam near Vadavalli. She was unwell due to old age. In this situation, the people of the area informed the Vadavalli police station that a foul smell was emanating from her house the day before yesterday.

Following this, the police reached the spot and found that the body of the woman was lying in a decomposed state after a long time of burning. Following this, the police recovered her body and sent it to coimbatore government hospital for post-mortem.

The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
