Tourist fell down while taking photograph at Birla Falls in Valparai

Jagar (21), a native of Coimbatore, who was on a picnic to Valparai, slipped and fell into the Birla Falls while taking a photograph and went missing. Based on the information, the fire department and police are actively engaged in the search for the missing youth.



Coimbatore: In a shocking incident, a youth who was on a picnic in The Birla Falls in Valparai drowned while taking a photo in the waterfalls.



The deceased has been identified as Jagar (21), son of Jaju, a native of Singanallur in Coimbatore. He had come to Valparai yesterday for a picnic with his girlfriend. In this situation, they went to Birla Pals Falls in the Sholayar Estate area near Valparai this morning after visiting the Valparai area yesterday.

While trying to take a photo near the waterfall, Jagger slipped and fell into the water. His friend also jumped into the water to save him. While Jagger drowned, the woman was washed away in the water.

With the assistance of neighbours, she tried to save a friend who had drowned in the sea.



Following that, the fire department and police arrived on the scene and are searching for the drowned person's body.



The incident of a youth going missing after he went to take a photo and drowned in the water caused grief in the area.
