It has been eight years since the Corporation Crematorium in Thudiyalur, Coimbatore district, was established. As a mark of respect, saplings were planted in the crematorium premises on behalf of the Isha Foundation, Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: The Isha foundation planted saplings to commemorate the 8th anniversary of the Thudiyalur cremation crematorium.
The crematorium was started eight years ago on behalf of the Corporation at Thudiyalur in Coimbatore. It is maintained by the Isha Yoga Center Foundation.
In this situation, on the occasion of the completion of 8 years of the establishment of the cremation ground, on behalf of Isha Foundation, they carried out the planting of saplings at the crematorium premises on Monday.
Thudiyalur Area Corporation Secretary Arulkumar and Periyanaickenpalayam East Union Deputy Secretary Ashok Kumar were the chief guests on the occasion and planted saplings.
Nirmal Kumar, Srinivasan, Moorthy, Velliangiri, Vijayakumar, Karthi, Sakthivel, Ravi and many others participated in the event.
