The 157th meeting of the Divisional Rail Users Consultative Committee (DRUCC) was held in Madurai.The Division has shown commendable performance this financial year, with revenue earnings of Rs. 197.88 crores in the first two months, a 21 percent increase from the previous year. Notably, the Division achieved a loading of 0.4892 million tonnes of freight, generating Rs. 63.96 crores. Mail/Express train operations maintained a punctuality rate of 95 percent.
Madurai: The Divisional Rail Users Consultative Committee (DRUCC) held its 157th meeting on June 16, 2023, in Madurai. Branch officers and committee members were present at the meeting, which was presided over by P. Ananth, Madurai's Divisional Railway Manager.
During his keynote address, the DRM emphasized the importance of DRUCC meetings in enhancing the system's efficiency and focusing on passenger amenities. He expressed gratitude to the members for their valuable inputs.
