As per the instructions of Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police Badrinarayanan, a first aid training camp (FIRST AID CLASS) is being provided every week with the help of an NGO called ALERT NGO to assist the general public in case of an accident.
So far, about 440 police officers and constables working in police stations and armed forces have been trained.

In this situation, the police personnel who participated in the first aid training camp held in the armed forces on Saturday were also given training.
Speaking on the occasion, the District Superintendent of Police, He urged the police personnel not to hesitate to save lives in times of danger and should act effectively and save lives.

Before taking those in critical condition to the hospital, He said that first aid is the emergency treatment they need and the right first aid done at the right time will help in saving the life of a fellow man.

Therefore, first aid training will be imparted to all officers and constables in the coming weeks with a view to ensuring that all police officers and personnel working in the district are made aware of this first aid training, he said.
