Opposition to setting up of sewage treatment plant - Protestors hoisted Black Flags in homes

Residents of Tirupur 45th ward have been hoisting black flags in their homes in protest against the ongoing construction of a sewage treatment plant in the area.



Tirupur:The public raised black flags at their homes in opposition to the construction of a sewage treatment plant in Tirupur.



On behalf of the corporation administration, steps are being taken to establish a sewage treatment plant at Quaid-e-Millath Nagar ward 45 in Tirupur Corporation.



Ever since the work started, the people of the area and all political parties have been protesting against the setting up of a sewage treatment plant in the area.

The public has already filed a complaint with the district and municipal administrations. However, the municipal administration has begun the process of constructing a sewage treatment plant.



As a mark of protest, the public across the 45th ward area today hoisted black flags at their houses and establishments to express their protest.
