Tirupur: Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) held a signature campaign near Udumalai Central Bus Stand in Tirupur district demanding the removal of R N Ravi from the post of Governor of Tamil Nadu.

Tirupur South District Secretary, P Thamizharasu and Chief Executive Committee member Loganathan presided over the meeting.

Udumalai Town Council President M Matheen, Vice-President Kalairajan, Congress District Panchayat member Janardhanan, CPI(M)'s Dhandapani, CPI(M)'s Krishnasamy, Sivasankar (TPDK), Ravi (Kongu Nadu Makkal Katchi), Advocate Thambi Prabhakaran (Dravidar Kazhagam), Basirullah (Indian Union Muslim League), Abdul Gayoom (Manithaneya Makkal Katchi) and Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam office-bearers Dr. C Krishnan (Member of the Governing Council), Advocate Singaravadivel (Member of the Political Advisory Committee), R T Mohan, E P Manivannan (General Council members), W N K Easwaran (Madathukulam Union Secretary), J Jayakumar (Gudimangalam Union Secretary), Abhirami Jayakumar (District Treasurer and Marumalarchi Kalasu Union office bearers were present.
The meeting conculded with MDMK City Secretary C Ramdas delivering the vote of thanks.
