Woman killed after being hit by unidentified vehicle near Alandurai

Tragically, Jushanara Begum (36) a woman worker from the northern state was killed in a fatal accident after being hit by an unidentified vehicle near Vadivelampalayam in Alandurai in Coimbatore.



Coimbatore: A northern state worker was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle near Vadivelampalayam in Alandurai, Coimbatore.

Adavoor Rahman (37) is an Assamese native. His wife, Jushanara Begum (36). They are currently working as labourers in VadiVelampalayam, near Alandurai in Coimbatore.

It is reported that the two were walking on the road from VadiVelampalayam to Pooluvapatti Saturday evening. Suddenly, the two-wheeler that came behind hit Jushanara Begum and left without stopping.

Following this, her husband Rehman rescued her with the help of people present and rushed her to thondamuthur government hospital. The doctors who examined her there said she died on the way.

Alandurai police have registered a case in connection with the incident and are on the lookout for the man who caused the accident and fled.
