Coimbatore North Round Table 20 and Coimbatore North Ladies Circle 11 have collaborated to pursue their Go Green initiative and planted 3500 saplings on Monday 26-06-23 to develop a Miyawaki forest at Varapatti Panchayat, Sultanpet.
Coimbatore: Coimbatore North Round Table 20 and Coimbatore North Ladies Circle 11 planted 3500 saplings for a Miyawaki forest at Varapatti panchayat, Sultanpet, as part of their Go Green programme on Monday 26-06-23.
Miyawaki forest is a Japanese concept of planting more trees on a small surface area.The trees were planted on land provided by the panchayat. This project was completed and will be maintained by Fabtech International Hoseieries pvt Ltd, Palladam and Vanathukul Tirupur.
