A sick woman arrived at the Coimbatore district collector's office on a stretcher and submitted a petition demanding that her husband, who has been taken into inquiry by the police and has not been released for 10 years, should be investigated and either released or released on bail.

Coimbatore: A sick woman arrived on a stretcher and petitioned the Coimbatore district collector, demanding that her husband, who had been detained for inquiry, and that the case be probed promptly that her husband be released or released on bail.

Fathima comes from a Karumbukkadai shop in Coimbatore. She is suffering from ill health and is undergoing treatment. Her husband, Sulaiman, was arrested in a bomb blast case and has been imprisoned in Bangalore for the past ten years.

Meanwhile, he has been imprisoned for a long time without doing any inquiry into the situation, and the case should be resolved as soon as possible. Fathima arrived at the Coimbatore district collector's office on a stretcher today and petitioned bail to Sulaiman.

Fathima stated that her husband Sulaiman had been imprisoned for the past ten years without a charge being filed against him. He was arrested while driving an auto rickshaw in Coimbatore in connection with the Bangalore blasts case. So far, he has not been released and no case has been filed, she said.

Fathima argued that her condition had worsened and she was bedridden, and that her husband be allowed bail and released.
