Former minister S P Velumani visited Valparai in Coimbatore district recently to inaugurate the AIADMK MLA's office and to inaugurate Amul Kandasamy's office in a private building. The public welcomed him with great enthusiasm, bursting crackers and garlanding him.

He opened the office and addressed the general public. Boat House, Botanic Garden, 116 residences, road facilities, and other amenities in the Valparai area were brought under ADMK administration.
