Broiler Shop Owner Arrested for Poisoning Domestic Dogs in Palladam!'

The public in and around Karaipudur and Palladam in Tirupur district were shocked to find more than 60 pet dogs, that had been domesticated by the locals, died under mysterious circumstances in the past few days.



Tirupur: Over the last three days, more than 60 domesticated pet dogs were found dead in Karaipudur and nearby areas near Palladam in Tirupur district under unknown circumstances.



This shocked the public who were rearing the dogs.



Following this, locals are keeping a close watch on the canines' cause of death of the dogs. Balu, who lives in the same area and runs a meat shop and restaurant in Karaipudur Lakshmi Naga. His goats were bitten and injured by the dogs roaming around the area.

Enraged, he went to a chicken meat shop near his shop and bought the wasted chicken waste there. The police investigation revealed that it was poisoned and dumped in the garbage and the pet dogs who consumed it died in succession.

Palladam police have opened an investigation and arrested Balu in connection with the poisoning of pets. The arrest of a meat shop owner from the same area by police in the case of the poisoning and murder of pet dogs has created a sensation in the area.
