Celebrate Magizhchi 2023 with a Fun-Filled Night of Laughter, Music and Delicious Food!

The Coimbatore District Hoteliers Association has been organizing food festivals and celebrations for many years, with Taste of Coimbatore and Eat Street being some of the most memorable. After a brief pause due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the association is now back and more excited than ever to organize Magizhchi ’23, a festival that promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Hoteliers Association (CDHA) is hosting an Entertainment cum unlimited buffet event called Magizhichi'23 this Sunday (16.7.2023) at the renowned PSG Convention Centre in Neelambur.

Balachandar Raju, Secretary, CDHA, stated about this exciting event, "Magizhchi '23 will feature three exciting programmes: a standup comedy performance by popular artist Manoj Prabhakar, a live concert by the Chennai-based band Staccato, and finally an unlimited buffet featuring a wide variety of veg and non-veg dishes."

The tickets are priced Rs.1499, Rs.2,999, Rs.3,999 and Rs.4,999, and they are available for booking online via ticketing platform Spotify, and they are available offline at various leading restaurants in the city, Balachandar Raju said.

"In the past, the Coimbatore District Hoteliers Association has organised food festivals and celebrations in the city such as Taste of Coimbatore and Eat Street." Our most recent food festival was hosted in January 2020, but owing to the Covid-19 circumstance, we took a little hiatus from organising food festivals. We have returned and are very excited to organise Magizhchi '23. It will surely be a very exciting evening for the Coimbatoreans,” he said.

"This is the first time such an event comprising stand-up comedy, live music, and an unlimited buffet has been held in Coimbatore," Balachandar noted.

He was also happy to share that CDHA will be hosting the highly anticipated Taste of Coimbatore food festival in Jan 2024.
