Coimbatore: Coimbatore Vellalore Government School completes 60 years and is being celebrated by.

The diamond jubilee was celebrated to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the construction of a new classroom building at a cost of Rs 70 lakh by the students of the school.

The alumni gathered at the ground and took everyone by surprise by taking out a procession carrying the necessary materials to the school and enrolling them in the school.

The alumni who studied in a government school for 60 years have come together to help in the development of the school. In this case, it was decided to hold a diamond jubilee year in the government school.

Following this, the alumni constructed new classrooms, arranged for the necessary equipment for the school, took it in a procession and brought it to the school.

Moreover, due to the increasing number of private schools at present, the number of government school students is less. Moreover, the functioning of schools at various places without basic amenities has created resentment among the students.

Keeping this in mind, the students who studied here constructed a new building, gave a renovation and tried to improve the school. Similarly, everyone is of the opinion that government schools will rise to the standards of private schools only if the students studying in those schools do their best to improve the government schools.
