Two groups clash inside Coimbatore collectorate over land dispute

A woman from Coimbatore took Rs 50 lakh for the land and did not give the land. A dispute broke out between the parties who gave the money and the woman who had come to the collector's office to lodge a complaint.

Coimbatore: In a shocking incident, two parties clashed inside the premises of the Coimbatore district collectorate over a land dispute.

It is learnt that a few years ago, a party had asked for the land of a woman from Coimbatore. It is alleged that the buyers of the land gave rs 50 lakh to the woman after she was offered Rs 50 lakh.

However, according to the complainants, the woman went into hiding with Rs 50 lakh in cash without giving the land. In this case, the parties who lost the money filed a civil suit in the court.

The civil case is currently going on in court. In this case, the woman had come to the district collector's office to lodge a complaint that some people were constructing a building on her place. When the persons who gave the money came to know about this, they questioned the woman who came to the district collector's office.

An argument broke out between the two as the woman said the case was going on in court.

As the argument escalated, the two sides attacked each other.

When the woman's party tried to leave in the car, the men who gave them the money stopped them from going and snatched the car keys.

They also abused each other with abusive words.

In the meantime, the woman said that she was trying to grab their property and was attacking them and cried out to save them. She said he did not know who had come to attack them. She also cried saying that he was trying to kill them.

In the meantime, the woman also admits to taking Rs 50 lakh. But the woman tells her to take the money through the court as the case is going on in the court.

Their fight created a ruckus inside the district collector's office. The Coimbatore City Economic Offences Wing police, who came to know about the incident, took both the parties for questioning. The police also took away the car in which the woman was travelling.
