Tirupur: More than 60 school students participated in the ovenless cooking competition held at Madathukulam and showcased their talents.
A fire-free cooking competition for adolescents was held at Government Higher Secondary School, Madathukulam in Tirupur District under the Poshan Abhiyaan scheme of the Integrated Child Development Project Office in Madathukulam block.
More than 60 students studying in 9th to 12th standard in Madathukulam block participated in the competition and performed their work within 25 minutes.
The event was presided over by Selvi Velankanni, Block Child Development Project Officer, Madathukulam.
Nelson, the founder of The Ennaipol Life Foundation, presented saplings and stationery boxes to the students who participated in the competition.
Jayachandran, deputy headmaster of the school, delivered the keynote address. Regional coordinator Gouthaman had made arrangements for the event.
