World Breastfeeding Week - Nurses create awareness in Coimbatore

On the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week at ESI Hospital, Coimbatore, an awareness programme to celebrate the centenary of INNER WHEEL CLUB, the nurses participated and created awareness about the importance of breast milk and its benefits.



Coimbatore: A large number of nurses participated in an event held at ESI Hospital in Coimbatore to create awareness on the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week.

Awareness programmes are being conducted at various places on the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week.



As a part of this, an awareness programme is being held in Coimbatore today on the occasion of Breastfeeding Week to celebrate the centenary celebrations of INNER WHEEL CLUB.



Organizations including Coimbatore IWC, Coimbatore East, West, North, South IWC, Coimbatore Synergy's IWC and others participated in the event held at ESI Hospital, Coimbatore and created awareness among lactating mothers in the hospital about the importance of breast milk and its benefits.

Pregnant and lactating mothers were also presented with a set of nutritious ingredients on the occasion.



This was followed by an awareness rally.



A large number of participants took part in the march carrying awareness banners about breastfeeding week and the benefits of breastfeeding.



The hospital nurses danced and cheered for the film songs at the event which impressed everyone.
