OPS ouster valid says Madras High Court: EPS supporters celebrate in Coimbatore

Following the dismissal of the case filed by OPS faction, former minister S P Velumani led a celebration in Coimbatore by bursting crackers and distributing sweets.


Coimbatore: The Madras High Court has ruled that the decisions to expel O Panneerselvam and others from the party will be valid. Edappadi's supporters are excited about this.

The Madras High Court on Monday dismissed the appeals filed by O Panneerselvam challenging the aiadmk general council resolutions chaired by Edappadi K Palaniswami and the election of general secretary of Edappadi K Palaniswami.

It also said that there cannot be a stay on the resolutions that expelled O Panneerselvam and others from the party. His supporters across Tamil Nadu are celebrating the verdict in favour of Edappadi K Palaniswami's side despite the appeal filed by the OPS faction.



As part of this, former minister S P Velumani led the celebrations in Coimbatore by bursting crackers and distributing sweets. Former minister S P Velumani distributed sweets to the volunteers. The activists who had gathered there raised slogans like "vaazhga Edappadi Palanisamy".
