Rains continue to evade Siruvani!


Though the city and the suburbs experienced fair to moderate showers a couple of days back,  it's unfortunate that the Siruvani catchment area did not receive adequate showers.

A highly placed source from the PWD department shared that, 'We expected more than moderate rains in the catchment area of Siruvani but it is disappointing that Siruvani catchment area did not receive even meagre rains. The catchment area continues to be barren and we are hopeful that the south west monsoons will start ahead of it's time and revive the reservoir'.
